The Vogue superstar has been dropping hints about the performance on her Instagram for weeks, leading many fans to believe that new music was in the works.
Nonetheless, the Queen of Pop got the crowd going wild with a rendition of her 2005 dance hit Hung Up.
Famous guests in attendance at the buzzy event included perennial Madonna fans Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, among many others.
‘To not celebrate pride without people would have been a tragedy for me,’ Madonna said to the crowd, according to Variety. ‘Take nothing for granted because you never know what’s waiting for all of us around the corner.’
Adding: ‘Learn to love yourself.’
Among those lucky enough to catch the exclusive performance in addition to Andy and Anderson were Billy Eichner, Zachary Quinto, Lance Bass and Adam Lambert.
