Lorde shares VERY cheeky new cover art as she gears up to release first single in four years

The last single she dropped was Homemade Dynamite, released in June 2017.

And four years later, the notoriously private star shared a very cheeky image of herself in honor of her upcoming new single.

The 24-year-old singer donned a thong swimsuit with a yellow top in the image, snapped from beneath her looking up at the sky.

In the photo, Lorde is walking along the beach wearing a thong bottom with a long-sleeved yellow top.

From the angle, most her derriere is visible, as well as her long legs.

The sky is blue with the sun behind her; In yellow letters reads Solar Power.

On her official website, Lorde noted that it’s ‘arriving in 2021’ and that ‘patience is a virtue.’

Her new music comes four years after she released her last single, Homemade Dynamite on June 16 2017 from her album Melodrama.

Melodrama was her second studio album, with the first being Pure Heroine in 2013.

In April was seen on social media in a surprise appearance on New Zealand food writer Albert Cho’s account.

The New Zealand born songstress, whose real name is Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor, rocked a button up top while at a restaurant with her martini in hand.

Lorde has not posted on her own social media account since April 5, 2018.

She had purged her account in May 2018, removing all photos except just three – a picture of the words Trust Me from December 2016, an image of a crowd wearing 3D glasses from January 2017 and the concert image from April 2018.
