It’ll be one ale of a view from this pub.
After months of closure, the Lastminute.com London Eye has finally reopened and to celebrate the occasion it is launching a new Pub Pod experience.
The sky-high boozer will reach a height of 443ft (135m) during the rotation and newly released pictures of the concept, opening in June, show how it includes dark wood bar tables, some foliage for a beer garden effect, and even a dartboard.

Guests can enjoy a game of darts while in the Pub Pod
Commenting on the Pub Pod, Lastminute.com London Eye’s general manager, Sunny Jouhal, said: ‘We are excited to welcome everyone aboard one of the highest and most intimate pubs in London to enjoy a drink with us this summer.
‘The Pub Pod serves up a unique experience like no other – moving across the capital’s most iconic views whilst in the comfort of a British pub!’
It’s not the first time the Lastminute.com London Eye has converted one of its 32 pods into a pub.
To celebrate its 20th birthday last March it decorated five capsules with interiors inspired by different parts of London.
One pod housed the King Vic, modelled after a traditional East End boozer, complete with wood panelling and a candelabra.
