Norris was asked whether the strapping on his leg was “anything serious” in Thursday’s press conference. The McLaren driver said he should be fine to compete.

Norris replied: “No, nothing serious. Not ideal. But I should be fine for driving.” Some on social called for McLaren’s new signing, Oscar Piastri, to get a run out at McLaren for the injured Norris but the Briton seems determined to continue.

Norris was pictured at a marketing event with Lego yesterday ahead of the race weekend.

The 22-year-old was seen getting into a lifesize F1 cockpit made completely out of Lego at an experience in Singapore. In the press conference, Norris also revealed he had eaten out at various restaurants for lunch and dinner since arriving.
