BMF, or Black Mafia Family, initially entered the development stage in 2019, when it was announced that 50 Cent would be producing a show centered on the crime organization.
The series received an official green light last April, and an ensemble cast was brought together, with performers such as Anthony, Snoop Dogg, Russell Hornsby and Eminem being added to the show.
Physical production on the program initially began earlier this year and continued for several months.
During an interview with Metro, 50 Cent spoke about how he wanted to highlight the understated mental acuity of criminals on the program.
