Nicola Sturgeon was “very slow” in responding to the disruption and behaviour Scotland football fans caused when they flocked to London to witness the historic Scotland v England match at Wembley on Friday. Comedia Leo Kearse drew a comparison between her response to the national team’s fans compared to her reaction to the celebrations of pro-unionist Rangers fans in Glasgow last month. Speaking to GB News, Mr Kearse said: “I guess Scottish fans coming here, they definitely created a Covid hotspot, they defecated in the fountains and the rest of it but Sturgeon was very slow to criticise them.
“They were singing IRA songs, singing anti-English, xenophobic songs.
“Sturgeon was slow to criticise them whereas with the Ranger fans, the Scottish team who are pro-Union so anti-Scottish nationalist, they’re on the other side of the Scottish ballot, Sturgeon was right over the traps and slamming them.
“If they do anything…they had a party in George Square in Glasgow just a few weeks ago and Sturgeon just slammed them.”
