Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship has reportedly remained tense since the Sussexes’ explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year. The Duchess of Cambridge had been described as the Royal Family’s “glue” amid all the drama.
Writing in the Telegraph, royal expert Camilla Tominey said Kate wants to fix relations between the Sussexes and the Cambridges.
She wrote: “Having grown up being close to her own siblings, Pippa, 37, and James, 34, the Duchess remained keen to bury the hatchet even after the interview aired to a global audience of millions, seemingly for the sake of two-year-old Archie’s relationship with his cousins.”
A source added: “Her natural instinct is to try to smooth things over.”
The Middleton family are famously close and the Cambridges were said to be very close with Harry before he relocated to the US.

After Prince Philip’s funeral, Kate was seen talking to Harry as the royals left St George’s Chapel.
William and Kate then walked either side of the Duke of Sussex before the Duchess broke away appearing to let the brothers chat alone.
During the Sussexes’ interview with Oprah, Harry told the US chat show host that William is “trapped” in the Royal Family.
He said: “My father and my brother, they are trapped.
“They don’t get to leave. And I have huge compassion for that.”
