Camilla Cabello apologised to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge live on air with Greg James on BBC 1 Radio’s Breakfast. Camilla admitted to stealing a pencil at Kensington Palace.

The radio host said: “We were at Kensington Palace… we were about to meet William and Kate and I said, ‘[You] gotta steal something. Steal something… steal that pencil.”

Camilla continued: “And I was like, ‘You triple-doggy dare me? And you can’t not do a triple-doggy dare. If there’s anything I’ve learned in my life, it’s that. So I did it.”

Camilla added that Greg told a palace worker about the situation. “You, to one of the palace people, called me out on it, and were like, ‘She stole a pencil!’

“And I was like, Oh, my God. And I put it in my mom’s purse, and my mom was like, ‘No, we have to give it back’.”

The apology did not go unnoticed with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The Duke and Duchess’ official Twitter account responded to the video explaining the incident at Kensington Palace with two eyes as an emoji.

The Grammy-award winner is known to her fans as one member of Fifth Harmony, however she parted with the band in 2016 to go solo.
