The publication reports that the deal has not been completed as of yet as they are working out the logistics of Majors’ busy schedule.
The talented star is set to play Kang The Conqueror in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and will also be seen in Western film The Harder They Fall in addition to war drama Devotion.
No doubt Jordan has a major interest in who his foe will be as Creed III is also set to be his directorial debut.

If he does take the role, Majors will also need to go through some boxing training as many who have starred in the film franchise have but that should be seen as no issue as he developed his acting chops at the Yale School of Drama earning his Master of Fine Arts (MFA).
Tessa Thompson and Phylicia Rashad will also be returning for the third film in the franchise which is a spinoff of the highly popular Rocky series of films.
However, Sylvester Stallone – who appeared in the first two movies – will not be making his return.

Zach Baylin and Keenan Coogler have written the script for the highly-anticipated film.
In addition to his role on Lovecraft Country, Majors is also best known for his starring role in Spike Lee-directed film Da 4 Bloods which was released last year.
He rose to prominence in 2019 after starring in Joe Talbot’s critically acclaimed independent film The Last Black Man In San Francisco.
