    She recently shared the secrets to her slender figure, including her very surprising relaxed diet.

    And Jessica Rowe looked resplendent in a sheer green dress as she hosted an event for Meat & Livestock Australia celebrating Aussie Beef at Pier One on Wednesday.

    The former Studio 10 star wore a demure polka-dot frock which was cinched in at the waist to highlight her small midriff.

    Jessica boosted her already statuesque height with black peep-toe heels and wore matching toenail polish.

    The mother-of-two was glowing in a neutral makeup palette and accessorised with  diamond earrings.

    Jessica was joined by her good pal Richard Reid and TV veteran Kerri-Anne Kennerly at the event.

    It was the first time Kerri-Anne has been seen since her mother Grace sadly died aged 99 last month.

    In a Q&A as she marked her new collaboration with Meat and Livestock Australia, Jessica said she eats takeaway once a week, enjoys a bit of chocolate each night, has a glass of wine or two on the weekend and isn’t afraid to eat carbs.

    Jessica added that for exercise, she enjoys one-two Pilates classes a week for ‘strength and toning.’ 

    ‘Make it about balance. Eat healthy most of the time, but then don’t forget to treat yourself,’ Jessica said. 

    ‘Friday night for us is takeaway night so it’s usually fish and chips or pizza. I also eat a little chocolate every night. There’s no point depriving yourself and it’s boring. You only get one life – enjoy it.’

    Jessica’s day on a plate 

    BREAKFAST: Toast with peanut butter or Vegemite, porridge, muesli, yoghurt, fruit or an almond croissant

    LUNCH: Sandwich

    DINNER: Spaghetti bolognese, stir fry or chicken schnitzel 

    TREATS: Chocolate and wine

    Jessica said she never ‘obsesses’ over portion sizes and often enjoys a breakfast of toast or porridge or an almond croissant. 

    She has a sandwich for lunch, followed by dinner which is usually chicken schnitzel or spaghetti bolognese. 

    ‘Breakfast would be vegie toast, peanut butter toast, porridge, muesli, yoghurt, fruit or an almond croissant,’ Jessica said. 

    ‘Lunch might be a sandwich and then for dinner it might be spag bol (sic), a stir fry or schnitzel with salad. I actually cook a lot of mince – I’m a massive mince fan!’ 

    She added that she loves to enjoy a glass of rosé or prosecco on the weekends. 

    ‘We sometimes go to a local Italian restaurant and when I walk in they’ve already poured a glass of prosecco for me,’ she said. 

    Jessica added that she never speaks to her daughters Allegra, 14, and Giselle, 12, about body size or ‘not fitting into things’ so that they have a positive relationship with their bodies when growing up.

    ‘I talk about bodies being strong powerful and capable of doing amazing things,’ Jessica refreshingly revealed. 

    ‘Girls learn from watching and listening to us talk about food and our bodies. They are our sponges, so I am always very mindful how I talk about myself.’

    Back in 2013, Jess spoke about her body type in a column for Essential Kids, saying she’s always been naturally slim. 

    ‘I am skinny. Always have been, always will be. And no, I don’t have an eating disorder,’ she wrote at the time. 

    She added that she likes to do weights and work out for her mental wellbeing and finished: ‘I like my body.’
