Jessica Rowe looks relaxed after visiting an exclusive skincare clinic in Bondi

Fears grew for Jessica Rowe’s mental health last month after her podcast interview with Pauline Hanson was removed due to severe online backlash.

But the former Studio 10 host, 51, brushed off her recent controversy on Thursday as she enjoyed a pampering session at a skincare clinic in Bondi.

Jessica looked thoroughly relaxed as she emerged from celebrity facialist Ingrid Seaburn’s health studio, and was even seen smiling at onlookers from behind her cat-print face mask.

The svelte journalist displayed her quirky fashion sense for the occasion, sporting a bright blue jumper and matching crocodile skin booties. 

Her look was completed with a light blue patterned skirt, a leopard-print bandbag and a perfectly-polished set of neon orange nails.  

As she made her way out the clinic, Jessica was seen hugging a woman 0 believed to be her beauty technician – in the doorway.

It’s the first time since Jessica has been spotted following her podcast saga late last month.

At the time, Jessica faced intense backlash for interviewing far-right One Nation politician Pauline Hanson on her podcast. 

Hanson had appeared on Jessica’s LiSTNR podcast  – a platform hosted by the media company Southern Cross Austereo – to discuss her time in prison for electoral fraud in 2003, her children, and other lighthearted topics like her favourite tipple.

Rowe promoted the podcast on social media as Hanson talking about ‘love, raising kids and why she keeps going’.

But the episode soon faced backlash on Twitter, with Australian of the Year Grace Tame accusing Rowe of ‘subtly enabling’, ‘normalising’, and ‘valorising’ Hanson.

Rowe later asked LiSTNR to ‘take down the Pauline Hanson interview’.

Southern Cross Austereo’s chief content officer Dave Cameron later said he didn’t hesitate to pull a controversial episode, after his conversation with the veteran journalist left him concerned for her wellbeing. 

‘That was a conversation that went late into the evening yesterday [Wednesday] and, to be honest, we are really supportive of Jess [and] of what she wanted to do and how she wanted to go with what unfolded yesterday,’ Mr Cameron told The Australian.

Hanson has since taken action against Southern Cross Austereo, advising the company that she has pulled One Nation’s expensive TV campaign from the network.

The party was planning to pay for a series of ads across the company’s regional stations to promote Hanson ahead of next year’s federal election.
