Jesinta Franklin recently spoke about her traumatic experience in hotel quarantine.

But the mother of two appeared to be in good spirits on Friday as she documented a shopping trip to her local Bunnings Warehouse store.

The model, 30, revealed on Instagram she was on a mission to buy paint to makeover her husband Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin’s cinema room.

She was joined by her daughter Tallulah, one, who was fixated by a giant fluffy puppy that acted as an in-store prop.

‘Oh dear… obsessed with the Dulux dog,’ she said as Tallulah hugged the big teddy.

Jesinta predicted the trip would ‘definitely end in tears’ when they got home as her little girl seemed to have grown attached to the toy.

In between her daughter’s playful antics, Jesinta also updated fans on her purchases.

She let them know she’d picked several different shades of paint for her Buddy’s cinema room.

The mother-and-daughter shopping adventure comes after Jesinta admitted she’d found her hotel quarantine experience rather traumatic.

In August, she reunited with Buddy in the Covid-safe AFL bubble in Victoria, after the family had spent a total of six weeks apart.

‘I am not the same person, I am honestly not. It was wild. I actually had two huge panic attacks in there,’ she told The Daily Telegraph.

‘I had a mountain of dirty nappies in the bin. We had no fresh air. We had loud speakers in the room that would announce every time a meal was coming which would wake the kids up.

‘It was like being in a very un-fun Big Brother. Fire alarms went off at midnight.’

‘When I was in there I put so much energy into being positive, so when I got out, I was exhausted,’ she added.

Jesinta had entered hotel quarantine with Tullulah and son Rocky, six months, with the intention of joining the Swans and GWS Giants in their Queensland pods.

But she, along with over 100 other WAGs and family members, faced disappointment after Queensland’s Delta outbreak and announcement of a three-day lockdown that saw the Sydney teams uprooted for a third time.

Jesinta shared several updates during her time in quarantine, posting images to Instagram in which she washed dishes in the bathroom sink, had dinner and did laundry in the bathtub.

In one post she admitted she was exhausted after the trip, writing: ‘I’m cooked.’

‘We are going to have some amazing stories to tell Lulu and Rocky! I’m taking so many pics and videos to show them when they’re older,’ she said in another post.

Jesinta reunited with Buddy, after more than a month apart, in early August.

She told The Herald Sun at the time she and her family were about to hop on a flight to Melbourne, where the Swans were expected to stay all season following Queensland’s Covid-19 outbreak.

‘It’s day by day and the whole thing has changed so many times, but we’re hoping to get out,’ she said.

‘It’s been tough but it’s just the reality of the world we’re living in at the moment. Not only me and what all the other Swans and GWS players’ partners have to do, but thousands of Australians,’ she added.
