The 49-year-old actress looked relaxed and cozy in a fuzzy baby blue sweater as she picked her son up from school before heading to the beach to meet his friends.

The 5ft8in beauty kept things breezy with a set of wavy brown sandals, and she wore her brunette locks tied back in a low-slung ponytail.
She blocked out the brightness with black sunglasses and carried along a mask, though she opted not to wear it while she was outside.

While Samuel was off on his own, Jennifer socialized with some of the other parents at the beach and enjoyed some sweet treats.
A stand nearby advertised ‘All Natural Popsicles,’ so the Alias star picked up a fruity red variety to cool down with.
Missing from the beach outing were Jennifer’s two other children, her mini-me eldest Violet, 15, and her middle daughter Seraphina, 12.

A source recently told People that the pair are ‘slowly starting to talk about the future,’ while continuing to ‘travel back and forth between Los Angeles and Miami’ to renew their relationship.
