Jackie ‘O’ Henderson reveals she sent two UberEats drivers on a car chase around Woollahra after offering one a $20 tip to handle multiple deliveries

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson was so desperate to fast-track her UberEats deliveries she pitted two drivers against one another, leading to a car chase around Woollahra.

The radio presenter, 46, said the incident almost led to a ‘punch up’ between the delivery guys after she offered one driver a $20 tip to handle two separate orders.

The UberEats app doesn’t let users assign drivers to multiple orders, meaning if you order from more than one venue, you will have separate drivers making deliveries.

But Jackie didn’t want multiple delivery drivers coming to her house, so offered one a generous tip to handle both orders.

‘I almost got two Uber guys into a punch up. I did the wrong thing,’ she explained on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Monday.

She recounted how she’d ordered food for herself then realised her 10-year-old daughter, Kitty, wanted a Frappuccino from Starbucks.

But chaos ensued when both drivers tried to collect the order at the same time.

‘Just as he got there [to Starbucks] this guy [the assigned driver] had collected the Frappuccino. Apparently, the whole trip home the other driver was leaning out and trying to steal the package,’ Jackie said.

‘This delivery guy who was doing the right thing had no idea why this guy was trying to steal a delivery.

‘They got here and were about to punch on. I just closed the door.’

Jackie said she’d learned her lesson and wouldn’t be trying anything clever with the UberEats app in the future.

Jackie recently slimmed down after becoming an ambassador for WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers.

Before embarking on the weight-loss program, she was spending up to $300 per week on UberEats.

‘I stopped wanting to leave the house and was avoiding social outings because I just didn’t feel well, motivated or confident anymore,’ she said in June.

‘I was never cooking for myself; UberEats was my best friend. It was expensive and a really unhealthy habit, which made me feel so bad about myself.’
