Jackie ‘O’ Henderson was reduced to tears on Wednesday’s Kyle and Jackie O Show after an on-air prank spectacularly backfired.
The 46-year-old had made headlines this week after she called blasted the so-called ‘scumbags’ who had dumbed rubbish in her bins during an on-air rant on Monday.
Updating listeners on her bin fiasco during Wednesday’s broadcast, Jackie admitted she’d checked inside her bins and realised the rubbish was actually a pile of her own unwanted newspapers that she’d left to pile up on the lawn.
‘A lovely kind neighbour has thought, I’ll clean up Jackie’s mess and put it in her bin,’ the red-faced radio star said.
Jackie, who lives in an $11million mansion in Sydney’s eastern suburb of Woollahra, was soon left mortified after co-host Kyle Sandilands, 50, invited a woman claiming to be Jackie’s ‘angry neighbour’ on-air.
In reality, it was was actually a KIIS FM staffer pretending to play the role as part of Kyle And Jackie O’s long-running prank segment ‘Only Lying’.

‘I’m one of the neighbours in the end of the cul-de-sac and I just wanted to ring and say thanks Jackie for the blast on the radio. I’m pretty p**sed that you blamed us,’ the woman raged at Jackie.
Taken aback, the mother-of-one insisted that she never specifically blamed her neighbours for the bin incident.
‘Oh, I’m not! No! I wasn’t!’ Jackie stammered, adding: ‘I didn’t even blame you guys… I never said, ‘you guys’. I said ‘someone’!’

The woman, however, wasn’t satisfied with Jackie’s explanation.
‘I think it was insinuated, that [it was neighbours]. And we live in a pretty nice street,’ she shot back, to which Jackie replied: ‘Yeah, 100 percent! I love all my neighbours’.
Tension grew as the woman continued to lash out at Jackie while refusing to accept her grovelling apologies.

‘There’s a few p**sed off people in the street, Jackie,’ she snapped.
Overwhelmed, Jackie suddenly burst into tears.
When the neighbour finally revealed that the whole confrontation was a prank, Kyle admitted he may have taken things too far.

‘Jackie is crying… I thought this would be hilarious, and it’s backfired. I’m sorry Jackie!’ he said.
‘I thought the whole street hated me!,’ Jackie sniffed, adding: ‘I want my neighbours to like me, not hate me!’
The botched prank came two days after Jackie ranted about ‘scumbags’ dumping their rubbish in her bins, dramatically saying the mystery act was the ‘lowest of the low’.

While Kyle, was amused by Jackie’s frustrations, as she raged: ‘Some a***hole has dumped all their rubbish in my bins. What a p***k. That’s the lowest of low, you scumbag.’
‘Struggle in the eastern suburbs!’ Kyle laughed, before Jackie explained why she was so irritated.
‘You guys know how we only get little bins, so every space counts. Little tiny bins,’ Jackie, who lives in the property with her daughter Kitty, 10, said.
