One contestant especially, Will Mellor, left the judges on their feet during his week one dance and was even compared to 2019 winner, Kelvin Fletcher.
It isn’t just the judges who were impressed with Will as bookmakers Coral’s have projected that the Coronation Street star is now 7/4 favourite to win the competition.
“Will Mellor looked a natural on the dancefloor on his Strictly debut, and ever since that opening performance, he has been well backed to lift the Glitterball Trophy,” said Coral’s John Hill.
Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton follows closely behind at 7/2, with singer Fleur East hot on her tails with 5/1 odds.
