And a ghost from Brynne’s past has now surfaced to reveal his first-hand experiences getting to know the socialite, 38, during her marriage to billionaire Geoffrey Edelsten, 78.

The show, which ran for two seasons between 2012 and 2014, took fans inside Brynne and Geoffrey’s wacky, cashed-up life in Melbourne.

During his time working on the show, Lawrence was able to enjoy a glimpse into the couple’s raw personalities and everyday habits.

‘The thing with Brynne was, as I got to know her more and more, I just thought that she’s completely contrary to the life she’s leading,’ Lawrence revealed.

The radio personality went on to explain that, while fans may assume Brynne was a ‘kept wife’ who only cared about inheriting her elderly husband’s money, this couldn’t have been further from the truth.

‘The thing with Brynne is, she was always with big hair and big clothes. And I’d spent time alone with her and Geoffrey at their flat where she’s just in a pair of activewear pants and a T-shirt,’ he said.

‘Out of all that finery, she’s just a simple girl that really wanted the simpler things of life,’ he went on.

Lawrence also recalled attending several parties at Geoffrey and Brynne’s apartment while the show was filming.

Geoffrey, who was around 70 years old at the time, would usually excuse himself from the festivities at 7.30 at night, Lawrence claimed.

‘He’d put his eye mask on and close the door of his coffin and close his arms across his chest and go off to bed,’ he joked.

'I think the arrangement wasn't particularly a love match': Elsewhere in the interview, Lawrence admitted he didn't think Brynne was genuinely happy in her marriage, prior to divorcing Geoffrey in 2014. Pictured in 2012

He went on to describe the exes’ apartment as a ‘real studio 54 party flat’, complete with red shag carpets, a lounge room full of cinema chairs, gaudy glassware and large light fittings.

Elsewhere in the interview, Lawrence admitted he didn’t think Brynne was genuinely happy in her marriage, prior to divorcing Geoffrey in 2014.

‘Outwardly she was happy. But I [used to] think she could be happier. I think the arrangement wasn’t particularly a love match.’

Brynne, who will appear on Channel Seven’s upcoming second season of SAS Australia, was arrested and charged with trafficking, possessing and using the insidious drug after a raid on a Boronia home, 36km southeast of the CBD, earlier this month.

Police also charged her with dealing with property suspected of being the proceeds of crime after finding a significant quantity of cash in her possession.

Brynne had hoped the matter might have been resolved before Seven network executives caught wind.

All that was shattered last weekend when news of the charges broke.
