Halsey shows off her L.A. pride by heading to the Los Angeles Lakers playoff game

Singer Halsey spent her Sunday afternoon supporting the Los Angeles Lakers by heading to their playoff game against the Phoenix Suns.

The 26-year-old singer (real name Ashley Nicolette Frangipane) took to her Instagram story on Sunday afternoon, sharing a brief video from the car ride to Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

The Colors singer’s outing comes after rumors surfaced that she has actually tied the knot with her screenwriter boyfriend Alev Aydin, which have yet to be confirmed.

The brief video started with Halsey showcasing her mother, Nicole Frangipane, who sported bright red hair, gold earrings and a gold Los Angeles Lakers t-shirt.

The singer turned the camera on herself, showing a retro 1987 Lakers World Championship t-shirt, along with extra-large hoop earrings.

She then finally turned the camera on her boyfriend Alev Aydin, wearing his own retro Lakers t-shirt, with glasses and gold chains dangling from his neck.

Halsey filmed the video with her left hand, making it impossible to see whether or not she was wearing a wedding ring.

Rumors of a secret marriage were sparked last week when the couple were spotted out and about in Los Angeles, wearing gold bands on their left hands.

Neither Halsey nor Aydin have commented publicly about the rumored marriage or not, though Halsey did recently reveal that her relationship lead to her biopic not happening at Sony Pictures.

The biopic was announced back in 2018 through Sony Pictures, with a fan reaching out on Twitter and asking why it never happened.

‘bc alev was supposed to be writing it the past 3 years and we slowly fell in love instead. you know the rest!’ the singer said on Twitter.

The New Jersey-born pop star was first pictured with Aydin at a Lakers game in 2019, and they got matching ‘seeds’ tattoos on their feet in 2020.

The film buff’s last gig was portraying a character called Guy in Paul Osborne’s 2018 thriller Cruel Hearts.

Alev also co-created and wrote the eight-episode comedy series Small Shots, which premiered on Netflix back in 2017.

Before Aydin, Halsey previously romanced Evan Peters, Yungblud, G-Eazy, Machine Gun Kelly, and Lido.
