She’s been vocal about grieving the death of her ex-husband Geoffrey Edelsten, and on Wednesday Gabi Grecko stepped out for some fresh air in New York City.
There was no missing the 32-year-old self-described ‘artist’ as she made her way through the city’s busy streets in an outlandish ensemble.
Gabi was joined by her mother, Kathy Deering, who appeared decidedly dressed down in comparison.

A smiling Gabi stepped out in a skimpy pink halterneck string bikini top, which barely contained her ample cleavage.
The top was patterned with skulls in diamantes, and she showed off her elaborate red torso tattoo.
She also wore a pair of skinny leg pink trousers, which sat low on her hips, and carried her belongings in a pastel rainbow-coloured bum bag.

Meanwhile, Gabi’s mother walked alongside her in a colourfully patterned T-shirt, which she paired with a khaki green button-up denim skirt.
She wore a pair of brown sandals and carried a vibrant rainbow patterned handbag on one shoulder.

Kathy’s brunette hair was tied back in a ponytail, and she accessorised with a pair of oversize square sunglasses.
In an interview with the Herald Sun earlier this month, the self-described ‘widow’ of Geoffrey claimed he’d simply lost the will to live.
Gabi – who admitted on Instagram that she hadn’t been in contact with Geoffrey for a year-and-a-half prior to his death – said he had multiple issues he was dealing with.

‘I feel almost bad, I think if he was in better spirits he would have lived, but he had so much debt, and his mum passed away, and I had left, I think he just gave up,’ she claimed.
Gabi said she was still coming to terms with the millionaire businessman’s death and was grieving the loss of her former husband.
‘I haven’t found love after him. And it’s sad I can never speak to him, even if I wanted,’ she continued.

Shortly after Geoffrey’s death, Gabi remembered her ex-husband by sharing a bizarre gallery of Christmas-themed photos.
The images showed the colourful businessman – who was Jewish – wearing a Santa costume with a menorah hanging around his neck.

Meanwhile, Gabi opted for a racy red and white mini-dress with a deep V-neckline and corseted waist.
The former couple posed on a plush red carpet and posed in front of a mini model of the Eiffel Tower, which had been decorated with Christmas baubles.
‘RIP,’ Gabi simply captioned the post.

Geoffrey was laid to rest in a traditional Jewish ceremony in Melbourne on June 15.
It was a simple farewell attended by just over 30 mourners, who gathered at his plot within the Jewish gardens of the Springvale Botanical Cemetery.
Geoffrey had made his millions back in the 1980s after developing a medical computer system that revolutionised the industry.

Meanwhile, in a post on Instagram earlier this month, Gabi claimed that she never divorced the multimillionaire businessman when they split in 2015.
‘For people who have asked. No, me and Geoffrey were still married when he passed away, no divorce, widowed,’ she wrote.
In a since-deleted post on Instagram, Gabi also claimed she was in with a shot at a slice of his fortune.

She shared a bizarre post from an Instagram follower, who claimed Geoffrey had told her three years ago that he would leave Gabi ‘something’ in his will.
‘I met Mr Edelsten at a hospital in Australia three years ago. He told me that Gabi is the only woman that he has ever loved and that he can never love another woman,’ the post read.
‘He also mentioned that unlike the others, she was not with him for his money and that he intends to leave her something in his last will and testament upon his passing.’

Geoffrey was found dead aged 78 by a cleaner at his Melbourne apartment on Friday, June 11 – the anniversary of his wedding to Gabi.
Gabi and Geoffrey dated on and off for five years, before marrying in Melbourne back in 2015.
He was 72 and she was only 26 when they tied the knot in an elaborate wedding ceremony, before splitting just a few months later.
