Greece wildfires: 'Out of control' fires cause power cuts in Rhodes – urgent evacuations

Local news site Athenian News has said the majority of the island of Rhodes, in Greece is experiencing a power outage.

This could be due to wildfires burning out of control in the Kalamonas area.

Evacuations are said to have been ordered for the Petaloudes Valley area.
