Gogglebox Australia’s Matty Fahd says he’d rather watch animals ‘pooing’ than a ‘cooking show or MAFS’ during candid interview with wife Sarah Marie on The Project
Matty Fahd made a surprising admission during an interview on The Project on Tuesday.
The Gogglebox star appeared on the panel show alongside his wife, Sarah Marie, 34, where he revealed he’d rather watch animals ‘pooing’ than some reality TV shows.
‘I actually love anything animal-related. I’ll watch cows pooing, elephants pooing. As long as it’s not a cooking show or MAFS, I’m good,’ he quipped.

Matty made the comment after a video introducing the couple showed them and their Gogglebox co-stars watching footage of an elephant getting an enema.
The disgusting footage showed a shocking amount of brown water gushing out of the animal’s bottom, prompting panelist Peter Helliar to make an off-colour joke.
‘That was Bondi Rescue,’ the 46-year-old comedian deadpanned.

Meanwhile, Sarah Marie admitted that unlike her husband, she isn’t a fan of the animal videos.
‘I don’t need to see any more poo than I already do in my day-to-day life,’ said the mum of son Malik, 22 months.
The couple was promoting the upcoming season of Gogglebox, which will premiere on Foxtel’s LifeStyle channel at 7.30pm on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Network 10 will air the show a day later at 8.30pm on Thursday.
Sarah Marie and Matty appear on the show alongside their best friend, Jad Nehmetallah.
But due to Sydney’s ongoing COVID lockdown – which has been in place since June 26 – the friends were forced to appear via Zoom.
