The idea behind smoke cleansing makes sense and is worth a shot if you’re feeling stuck, helpless, unproductive or it’s a Full Moon.

Sage can actually clear 94 percent of airborne bacteria from the air and it releases negative ions which are supposed to improve your mood.

It is often thought that as the smoke fills a room, it clears away anything bad that might be lingering in the room or your life.

Semra writes: “As the smoke travels through the air and floats through the atmosphere it is charged with your magical intention, whether that might be clearing toxic vibes and negative energy, blessing yourself and your space, or as an offering to your spirit guides.”
