And the Spice Girls star admitted she’d love to expand her family with her husband despite fertility issues, which includes perimenopause symptoms and endometriosis.

The famous couple, who already share Beau and Tate, 10, have been thinking about growing their family for the last year.

The singer revealed in an interview with Lorraine earlier this summer: ‘I’m always, always broody!’ Jade, he would have lots more children.’

‘I think we are at the stage where we are very much like, if it happens it would be amazing.’

Emma told You Magazine she is worried it could be too late for her to conceive naturally, as she is now perimenopausal.

She told the magazine: ‘I cried my eyes out. I thought, ‘Is this the end?”

Describing the symptoms of perimenopause, which is the body’s natural transition towards menopause, Emma said: ‘I started to feel unbalanced and anxious.’

‘At first I put it down to the pandemic, but then the anxiety became more regular, until it was daily.’

Emma researched her symptoms, which also included tiredness, and realised it could have been perimenopause.

The Wannabe hitmaker then spoke with a medical professional via Zoom ‘who came to the same conclusion. I was perimenopausal.’

The singer is prepared for either outcome, admitting that she had difficulties conceiving her two kids Beau and Tate.

‘But [with] both my children, it wasn’t easy falling pregnant, so we’ll just see how it goes,’ she revealed on the show.

She was also diagnosed with endometriosis in her mid 20s– a condition the NHS describes where tissue similar to the lining of the womb begins to grow in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes.

    WHAT IS ENDOMETRIOSIS?

Endometriosis occurs when cells in the lining of the womb are found elsewhere in the body.

Each month, these cells react in the same way as those in the womb; building up, breaking down and bleeding. Yet, the blood has no way to escape the body.

Symptoms include pain, heavy periods and fatigue, as well as a higher risk of infertility, and bowel and bladder problems.

Its cause is unknown but may be genetic, related to problems with the immune system or exposure to chemicals.

Treatment focuses on pain relief and improving quality of life, which may include surgery or hormone treatment.
