While on Strictly’s spin-off show It Takes Two, he opened up on what the popular couple have been working on.
Speaking to Rylan Clark, the Ukrainian dancer explained: “We’ve been talking a lot about tense and intense, I don’t want tense.”
“I would love intensity and there is a small difference, tense is just tensing, intense is a certain feeling, a certain body position.”
He has been full of praise for his partner’s efforts this year and declared: “She’s doing great, amazing.”
Ellie is fancied at 20/1 by the bookmakers Coral to be crowned the Queen of the ballroom in December’s finale.
