Danny teamed his look with a dark grey T-shirt and white trainers, while he carried a Boots paper bag following his brief visit to the pharmacy.

The Assassin star appeared in good spirits as he strolled down the street before making his way to his car.

His outing comes amid gritty scenes for his EastEnders character Mick, which recently saw pedophile Katy Lewis (Simone Labhib) sent to jail for sexually abusing Mick when he was just 12 years old.

There was drama in court as Mick’s daughter Nancy suffered a seizure during a break from the trial.

With Mick helping his daughter, he was unable to read out his victim impact statement, leaving a barrister to do it on his behalf.

Luckily, the judge took Mick’s heartfelt words into account and eventually sent Katy to prison for 10 years, while she was also put on the sexual offenders register for an ‘indefinite period’.

As Katy was taken away, Mick and his family, including wife Linda and mum Shirley, left court together, with his ordeal finally over.

It was revealed that Mick was the victim of sexual abuse as child in October.

The shocking twist was revealed as Mick realised that Frankie was his long-lost daughter, after fathering her with care worker Katy when he was just 12 years old.

Mick struggled to come to terms with his historic abuse in the emotional storyline, and BBC bosses worked with charities Survivors UK and the NSPCC to ensure the issue was handled sensitively.

Having already suffered from anxiety and panic attacks thanks to the return of his former-abuser Katy, Mick felt he had reached the end of the line.

Later in January, fans were left rejoicing after Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) discovered Katy abused Mick.

Shirley saw red when she overheard Katy threatening Mick to keep their affair a secret, after she had raped him as a child.

And viewers of the BBC soap declared that pedophile Katy ‘had it coming’ as Shirley gave her a vicious beating, much to the shock of other Albert Square residents.

Shirley then picked up the phone and rang the police to report the abuse.
