Speaking on the rift between the brothers anticipated next appearance together, Angela Levin said the statue means a “great deal to both of them”.

“It’s a huge embarrassment that this joyous occasion is clouded by the current situation,” she said.

“I just hope it doesn’t take attention away from the extraordinary woman they are celebrating.

“William and Harry will make separate speeches, which wasn’t always the plan.

“It will be quite a stressful day for the Royal Family as they never know what Harry is going to say next.

“It would have almost been easier if he didn’t come, but it’s Harry’s mother as much as she was William’s so it’s important that he is there.”

Prince Harry and Prince William have been working on the project since 2017.

The statue was created by British artist Ian Rank-Broadley, who also designed UK coins which feature the Queen’s profile from 1998 onwards.

“His short trips back to the UK don’t leave enough time for healing.”

If Prince Harry returns to the UK in the near future, experts have hinted there is a possibility his wife Meghan Markle and children, Archie and Lilibet, may join him.

Royal expert, Camilla Tominey, said earlier this month, the opportunity for the Queen to meet her latest great grandchild would be the “strongest olive branch” for the Sussexes to heal the rift.
