Cricketer Aaron Finch and wife Amy announce the arrival of their ‘little princess’ – and share their daughter’s unique name
Aaron Finch and wife Amy welcomed their first child, daughter Esther, on Tuesday.
The Australian cricketer proudly shared the news on Instagram Wednesday evening, writing, ‘Our little princess arrived yesterday at 4.58pm weighing 3.54kg.
‘(Amy Finch) did an amazing job and both her and bub are very healthy!’

The couple’s news was quickly inundated with well wishes.

Bec Judd was was the first to post a comment, and preferred to keep things short and sweet.
‘Congratulations. This is everything,’ she wrote alongside a red love heart.
Mitchell Johnson shared the Melbourne influencer’s joy, writing ‘Great news’ before adding a clapping hands emoji, followed by ‘beautiful’.
David Warner was also quick to add his congratulations, and wife Candice echoed the sentiment, writing ‘She is perfect in every way’.
Adam Gilchrist, Pat Cummings, MasterChef’s Laura Sharrad and The Project’s Peter Helliar also shared sweet messages.

The couple first announced they were expecting a child in March, when Aaron shared a photo of Amy’s sonogram.
‘Our family of four is about to become five, with the addition of a little baby girl. We are beyond excited and can’t wait to meet our princess!’ he wrote at the time.
The ‘family of four’ Aaron was referring to includes himself, Amy and their two dogs.
