Comedian Celeste Barber suffers shocking home haircut fail

Celeste Barber is in lockdown in Sydney, and she felt inspiration strike on Monday. 

The comedian, 39, loved the look that model Bella Hadid, 24, was sporting, that included choppy locks and a soft fringe around her face. 

Sharing a video to Instagram, Celeste revealed she had given herself an at-home haircut in an attempt to copy the look.

In the first clip, Bella shot the camera a sultry look as she slid a few loose strands across her million-dollar face. 

The second clip, which was stitched to the first, showed Celeste’s efforts to recreate the do. 

Unfortunately it went very badly, with the comedian seemingly rather distraught when she showed off her butchered locks.

Celeste wrote in her caption: ‘REMINDER- Just because Bella cut bangs during a pandemic DOESN’T MEAN YOU SHOULD!’ 

The funny-woman is known for poking fun at celebrities and recreating their social media posts in amusing ways.

Celeste shared a split-screen image of Kylie’s gangly pose in a green hooded one-piece on top and her intentionally laughable attempt to recreate it below.

Part of the comedian’s schtick is that she usually lacks the exact designer outfit she’s choosing to parody, instead cobbling together an ensemble from household items.

Here, she wore what looked like a green haemorrhoid cushion over her head, a green Lycra suit and some high-vis armbands and accessories.
