Chelsea are reportedly trying to negotiate a loan deal with Bayern Munich to complete the capture of Kingsley Coman. The Blues are allegedly looking to add more firepower to their frontline and that may involve letting Callum Hudson-Odoi depart in a part-exchange deal.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Chelsea discussed the possibility of sending Hudson-Odoi or Tammy Abraham to Borussia Dortmund in a player-plus-cash deal for Erling Haaland.
The 20-year-old goal machine is the club’s top target this summer and there is optimism a deal can be pulled off despite Dortmund’s strong stance.
However, the Bundesliga club shot down the idea of taking either Chelsea player in the deal.
Instead, it appears Chelsea are potentially looking to use Hudson-Odoi in exchange for Coman, as per L’Equipe in France.

Hudson-Odoi started both of Tuchel’s first two games in charge at Chelsea against Wolves and Burnley but struggled to keep his spot in the side.
Now it appears he could potentially get the chance to embark on a new venture, permitting Bayern show a willingness to do the deal.
It has been reported in England this week that Hudson-Odoi wants to stay at Chelsea and fight for his place.
There have also been claims that he wants to change his international allegiance to Ghana but those rumours are believed to be wide of the mark.
Meanwhile, Coman has just two years remaining on his deal at Bayern but contract talks are yet to progress.
His representatives are said to be playing hardball with Bayern and making negotiations difficult.
The Frenchman would like to explore the Premier League after previously playing in Germany, Italy and France.
There has also been interest from Manchester United but that’s likely to have cooled following the signing of Jadon Sancho.
