    Romeo Lavia

Southampton only signed Lavia from Manchester City in July. The 18-year-old penned a five-year contract and impressed in the early part of the season, scoring in the 2-1 win over the Blues.

It has since emerged that Chelsea had an offer of around £50m turned down by Saints late in the window. He is close to a return to action following a hamstring injury and Chelsea will surely be keeping an eye on his progress.

    Next summer

Two players Chelsea have a long-standing interest in are Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham. However, it seems almost impossible that either West Ham or Borussia Dortmund would consider selling their prized assets during a season.

Next summer would likely be a more realistic time for Chelsea to pursue the England duo.
