Have You Been Paying Attention? creators launch a new comedy show on Channel 10 hosted by comedians Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald
The production company behind Have You Been Paying Attention? and Frontline is making a new comedy show for Channel 10.
The Cheap Seats, hosted by comedians Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald, will premiere next Tuesday at 9pm.
The program will take a comedic look at the week that was, from major news events to sports, showbiz and viral videos.

Melanie and Tim will be familiar to fans of Have You Been Paying Attention? as they have been panellists on the show a number of times.
The Kiwi funnywoman announced her new project on Instagram on Tuesday, writing: ‘The cat is out of the bag!
‘The reason I’ve moved to Australia is that @timmcdonaldwastaken and I are hosting a brand new TV show on Channel 10,’ she added.

‘The cat is out of the bag!’ The Kiwi funnywoman announced the show on her Instagram page on Tuesday, writing: ‘The reason I’ve moved to Australia is that @timmcdonaldwastaken and I are hosting a brand new TV show on Channel 10’

Hilarious: Meanwhile Tim also joked: ‘It’s our look back on the last 7 days, with 8 farmers, 10 geeks and a ninja. On an island’
Tim also told his own Instagram followers he ‘cannot wait’ for the premiere.
‘It’s our look back on the last seven days, with eight farmers, ten geeks and a ninja. On an island. Starts 9pm Tuesday on 10, and we cannot wait!’ he wrote.
The program is being made by Working Dog Productions, which was founded in 1993 by Santo Cilauro, Rob Sitch, Jane Kennedy, Tom Gleisner and Michael Hirsh.
The Melbourne-based film and TV production company also makes Have You Been Paying Attention? for Channel 10.

The Cheap Seats premieres Tuesday, July 20, at 9pm on Channel 10
