This year, the UK has invited India, South Africa, and South Korea to attend the Leaders’ Summit as guest countries as well as the EU.
Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie have greeted the new leaders during an official welcome.
Carrie met the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison and South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in and wife Kim Jung among others.
