She said that just before they started dating, she saw him on a TV show and ‘slid into his DMs’ on Twitter.
‘I wasn’t interested at all and I remember seeing something on him on Foxtel or something… and I messaged him on Twitter… It was 2013. We just started chatting and it went from there.’
Candice said that she soon went to England to meet David and their relationship went from there. They shared a first date, drinks, at a gay bar in London.

Speaking about how she handles David’s female admirers, Candice said she’s confident in herself and their rock-solid relationship.
But she also said David knows that if he ever entertained another woman, she’d be out the door.
‘You just have to find the right man who makes you feel secure and you have to be confident in yourself because it wouldn’t matter who was around your partner, because you know you’re solid, he’s solid and nothing else matters,’ she said.

‘For me, it doesn’t bother me too much, [if] you want my husband, well you’re not going to get him,’ she said.
She added: ‘It comes down to the man, not showing those women attention and making you feel secure.’
