She underwent a lifesaving ovarian removal surgery last month as she continues to battle breast cancer.

And just weeks after her operation, fashion designer Camilla Franks put on a stunning display at Australian Fashion Week.

On Thursday, the ‘Kaftan Queen’ looked beautiful in an intricately beaded jumpsuit which featured a plunging neckline with a matching jacket.

The jacket featured a mix of gold, blue and turquoise coloured beads on the front.

She then turned to reveal a larger and more elaborate pattern across her back.

Beneath her jacket, the fashionista wore a beaded jumpsuit with flared hems that also had plenty of beading and splayed out as she twirled in the photo.

She completed her look with a pair of boots with gold embellishments, a studded box purse and chandelier earrings.

The designer styled her hair up in a bun, and for makeup opted for a radiant base, dramatic cat-eye look with lashings of mascara and a nude tone lip.

Inside the runway show for Indigenous Fashion Projects, she posed for a photo with fellow Celebrity Apprentice star, David Genat.

Camilla’s appearance at the show comes after the designer broke down in tears as she discussed her battle with cancer during a live interview for fashion week on Wednesday.

The style icon – who looked fabulous in head to toe leopard print – wiped away tears while answering questions about the sensitive subject of her battle with breast cancer.

The candid interview comes almost one month after Camilla shared a gut-wrenching Instagram post about her surgery and the sorrow she felt after having her ovaries removed.

On May 6, she uploaded a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed alongside Luna’s teddy bear, calling the toy her ‘comfort in a sea of sadness’.

‘I’m clinging to it like a life raft, breathing in her smell, feeling her presence and warmth. Its little furry body is soaked with a torrent of tears that I can’t seem to stop,’ she wrote in the caption.

‘I lie here with a broken heart as I recover from surgery to finally remove my ovaries. The grief and pain is excruciating. I feel as if my chest is going to burst as I mourn the loss of children I can no longer bear.’

Describing her battle with breast cancer as ‘hideous’, Camilla confessed her fight with the insidious disease is ongoing.

‘The gut-wrenching fear, sickness and debilitating rounds of immediate treatment are one thing, but it goes on,’ she continued.

‘I have a harmful BRCA2 gene variant and with that diagnosis came a horrible reality. That not only did I have to fight the breast cancer I had, I also had to prevent the future cancers I was so much more likely to get – more breast cancer, ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, and others.’

She added: ‘I had to fight to save my life. A life which is so much more precious now that I have a little girl who loves and needs me.’

Camilla was first diagnosed with stage-three breast cancer only months after welcoming her daughter in January 2018.

The entrepreneur has one child: daughter Luna, three, whom she shares with fiancé J.P. Jones.
