A Brexit expert has said Boris Johnson wants to ensure the case for triggering Article 16 is “bomb proof” amid speculation he could trigger it soon.
The Prime Minister has said the current implementation of the protocol is having a “damaging impact” on the people of Northern Ireland.
But expert Mujtaba Rahman said “it will still be a bit of time” before the Government notifies the EU on Article 16, saying it could be early December.
