Braith Anasta’s fiancée Rachael Lee gets the all-clear from latest skin cancer check-up… following surgery to remove a melanoma last year
After facing a skin cancer scare last year, Braith Anasta’s fiancée Rachael Lee has shared a welcoming update.
On Thursday, the 32-year-old trainer posted pictures of her latest check-up on Instagram after melanoma cells were removed from her body last November.
‘Back for my three month scans,’ she wrote, taking a photo of a computer analysing moles on her body. ‘A reminder get your skin checked.’

Relief! Braith Anasta’s fiancée Rachael Lee, 32 (pictured), had a skin cancer check-up this week following melanoma surgery last year
Rachael then elaborated on the process, saying: ‘They (doctors) check every single mole/freckle. It takes two hours to do that (And I’ll do this once every three months).
‘(They) then compare my old photos to today’s photos, and see if there’s any new ones or changes which we don’t want,’ she continued.
The personal trainer then explained that the doctors will come back and analyse the moles and whether they are ‘good’ or ‘need to be cut out.’

Rachael also confessed that she’s always ‘super anxious’ in the days leading up to her check-ups.
The next picture on her timeline is in the doctor’s room, where she’s waiting by herself for the result from the doctor.
‘This is where I always get nervous,’ she admitted, detailing how the doctor is checking five of her moles that are either new or have ‘changed colour.’
Eventually the doctor came back to Rachael with good news, explaining that none of her moles are posing any cancer risks, much to Rachael’s delight.

Rachael’s big battle with skin cancer came in November, where she posted pictures of a melanoma growth being surgically removed from her body and requiring 14 stitches.
She confessed she was ‘naïve and stupid’ after ignoring a black freckle on her body and ‘baking herself year after year.’
Rachael also claimed she ‘cried in front of the kids’ upon being diagnosed. Her and Braith share a daughter, Gigi, as well as two older children, Aleeia and Addison, from previous relationships.

Ouch! Rachael’s skin check reminder comes after comes she posted photos of her melanoma after it was surgically removed. She circled her melanoma, which looked like a tiny freckle in the before photo (left), and then explained how she had to get 14 stitches to remove it (right, her stomach post-surgery)

Emotional: Rachael said she she ‘cried in front of the kids’ upon being diagnosed with skin cancer. She and Braith share a daughter, Gigi, as well as two older children, Aleeia and Addison, from previous relationships (all pictured)
