Johnson paid tribute to his co-star Steele after her departure from Emmerdale.
He wrote: “What can I say…. 3 years working with this legend!
“And what a few years it’s been! From getting off the booze to nearly dying in a bar, running off to get married and then getting crushed by a caravan, Vinny and Liv have certainly been through the works!
“But to have this storyline and being part of @emmerdale 50th has been an absolute dream!
“Go and smash it @isobelsteelee and please don’t forget me when you’re in Hollywood! Really going to miss ya xxx.” (sic)
Emmerdale continues four nights a week at 7.30pm on ITV.
