Former Culture Club singer Boy George, 61, was unrecognisable as he transformed into a “Lion Queen” while arriving in Australia ahead of his I’m A Celebrity 2022 stint.
The star was pictured wearing a fluffy lion mask to embrace the spirit of the jungle before facing his fears on the ITV show.
He quipped when responding to questions about I’m A Celeb: “I’m here to a version of The Lion Queen, I don’t know what you are talking about darling!”
When quizzed on if he’d commit to wearing the lion costume in camp for the entire series, Boy George replied: “Lets hope so.”
The Karma Chameleon hitmaker will be joining the star-studded I’m A Celebrity line-up, including Royal Family member Mike Tindall, Loose Women’s Charlene White, A Place In The Sun’s Scarlette Douglas, Lioness Jill Scott, Corrie’s Sue Cleaver, Radio X DJ Chris Moyles, Love Island star Olivia Attwood, Hollyoaks’ Owen Warner and comedian Babatunde Aleshe.
