Boris's new education tsar resigns months into job over £13.6BN catch-up fund black hole

Sir Kevin Collins sent his resignation to Mr Johnson this evening, criticising the lack of funding on offer to help children make up for lost learning over the course of the pandemic.

Writing to Mr Johnson he accused the Government of risking “failing hundreds of thousands of pupils”.
