Boots is transforming itself following the pandemic and improving the beauty products and experience for customers. With a huge spike in interest in all things beauty and makeup, the British health and pharmacy chain is reinventing areas of stores to bring beauty halls to the high street.

Boots has announced 30 new beauty halls will be opened this year.

It comes after the brand has listened to its customers and understands that more people are shopping locally since lockdown.

As a result, Boots is making the best of beauty even more accessible by revamping many of its beauty halls and introducing some of the world’s most sought-after brands to smaller towns and cities nationwide.

The new halls are set to sell a large variety of products and have specially trained staff available to help customers select the right one for them.

The new and improved beauty halls will include fresh new brands including Dr Jart+, Huda Beauty, Fenty Skin, Morphe and Bite Beauty.

For those looking for advice and tips on their beauty regime, customers can also get personalised, brand-neutral beauty and skincare advice from the new Boots Beauty Specialists in-store.

With restrictions lifting in England, samples and testers are back too, meaning beauty lovers will also be able to trial and test their favourite beauty products instore, with beauty services and consultations also available.

Sales of beauty products rose 85 percent in the three months to May 31 compared to the same period the previous year.

So with this change will come job roles.

Boots will be hiring more than 100 new staff to fill the beauty specialist roles in addition to 700 roles already.

Their job will consist of giving personal beauty and skin care advice to customers for free in stores.

Empathy training will also be given to let them better understand customers’ needs.

This will also include an extra 830 Boots Macmillan Beauty Advisors support customers going through cancer treatment with free, face-to-face beauty advice.
