BBC’s gymnastics commentator Beth Tweddle admitted that she did not have Great Britain to win the top medals in the men’s gymnastic events. When asked for her predictions she said that as Japan was hosting the Olympics they would likely perform well. She added that despite this, nor China or Russia would give up easily against their Japanese opponents.
She went on to say that the US male gymnastic athletes also looked strong.
She added the format would also not allow for any errors.
