How to plant a bare root plant
The plant will likely article wrapped at the roots to retain moisture.
Keep these roots wrapped until you have dug your hole in the garden, making sure the hole is large enough to accommodate the roots without the roots breaking or bending.
Mound up the soil in a cone shape.
Unwrap the roots and let them soak in a bucket of water for an hour or so.
Once done, trim off dead roots. Then place the centre of the plant’s roots on the mound of soil in the hole.
Spread around the roots and then, holding the plant in place, fill the hole. Then water the plant well.
