Her Majesty welcomed the Australian premier at Windsor Castle this morning and was pictured chatting to Mr Morrison in the Oak Room of the royal residence. The Queen wore a vibrant yellow floral dress for the occasion and was pictured smiling while chatting to the politician. The photograph also offers a sneak peek inside the royal residence, with several items on display in the background.
The pair stood in front of a flat-screen TV on a grey stand.
An armchair with a pink and white trimmed cushion was also visible in the background, alongside a large glass table lamp with gold detail.
To the right of the photo an antique wooden side table could be seen on top of the bright red carpet.
The table is home to a large blue vase and a number of photo frames.
It is not clear who is on display within the frames.
Other ornaments and another lampshade also sit on top of the table.
Above the side table, a large painting is hung within a gold frame.
The Queen, who stood next to the Australian prime minister wearing her statement pearls, welcomed the politician in a rare face-to-face visit.
