Bachelor Jimmy Nicholson's mother is confused as Brooke Cleal says their relationship is meant to be

Jimmy Nicholson’s mother Susan was left confused following her discussion with Brooke Cleal during Thursday night’s finale of The Bachelor.

After meeting the 27-year-old’s family, Susan and Brooke stepped aside for a one-on-one chat.

During their conversation, Brooke revealed she’s ‘very spiritual’ and said she feels like her relationship with Jimmy is ‘meant to be’.

‘It does worry me [that Jimmy is a pilot] because I can be a little bit clingy at times, and it does scare me that I won’t cope and that I’ll struggle,’ Brooke admitted.

‘It has been an issue in the past with ex-partners – we smothered each other, and it was just not very healthy at all,’ she said.

An unimpressed Susan responded: ‘The smothering won’t work with Jimmy. He’s very giving but I think he also needs to have his own independence as well.’

Brooke went on to say she’s been honest with Jimmy about needing a supportive partner and believes their relationship could work.

‘I can’t predict the future. I can’t sit here and tell you what it’s going to be like.  I’m a very spontaneous person. And I really want to give this a go, because I’m falling in love with him,’ she said.

‘I’m very spiritual when it comes to these sorts of things and I just feel like it’s meant to be.’

‘It was really really interesting. She’s very clingy. And she’s very intense. And so, she’s different to what I would normally have expected,’ she said.
