‘This has been by far the most heated season of The Block that I’ve ever worked on, and I’m not just talking about the Melbourne property market,’ host Scott Cam told Nine.
‘Auction day will be the first time our Blockheads come face to face since finishing their builds.’
Cam says everyone is ‘gunning’ to acquire a huge price for each of the five properties.

‘All the Blockheads have worked so hard this year to build five completely different three and four-bedroom family homes, so we’re really gunning for them to come home strong and win a life-changing amount of money.’
‘But as we know, anything can happen on auction day — it’s completely out of our control,’ the reality TV host added.
Four of the five houses this season have a price guide between $2.6 and $2.8 million.
House five, renovated by Kirsty and Jesse, is the only two-storey property and is expected to fetch between $3.2 and $3.4 million.

Out of the five teams this season, the pair with the most points from the Room Reveals will be awarded with the Domain Super Power.
This prize gives one team the ability to pick the auction order for each of the five houses and also have their home published on the front cover of Domain magazine.
Ronnie and Georgia are currently sitting at the top of the ladder with a score of 304.5.
One team next weekend will take home The Block’s $100,000 prize on top of the profit they make on auction day.
