One man has been reportedly detained in Bristol after a “weapon was seen” following reports of a machete attack.
Police officers attended the scene on Bell Hill Road in St George on Tuesday afternoon with around eight police vehicles at the scene.
Officers were responding to reports that two men had been fighting in the street and that one man used a machete during the incident.
The road was closed off at around 1:30pm to “ensure the safety of the public”, the police have said.
