Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s version of events regarding the first words of their son Archie Harrison have been highlighted inconsistent by a royal expert. Jonathan Sacerdoti raised the issue as he told Us Weekly that it was difficult to believe the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have “worthy intentions” when they continue to share stories about their personal lives and family life.

In his latest documentary series ‘The Me You Can’t See’, Prince Harry told Oprah that one of his son’s first few words included “Grandma Diana”.

He was openly discussing the impact his mother’s death in 1997 had on his mental health and the “anger” it manifested within him during his late twenties.

However, Mr Sacerdoti points out that this story contradicts his conversation with presenter James Corden in March, where he revealed that Archie’s first word was “crocodile”.

The royal expert said, “It feels ridiculous for serious people to be bickering and arguing about the first words of an infant that we don’t know, but ultimately it’s not because that’s our interests necessarily, it’s because they’re putting it out there.”

“You can’t move for Prince Harry’s stories and Meghan’s stories and Archie’s stories at the moment. There’s only one reason for that, it’s that they keep putting them out there.”

He added, “It’s very strange for them to continue to claim that they have worthy intentions only and that they don’t want that attention.”

“If they didn’t want it, there’s an easy way for them to avoid it, they could just keep a bit quiet.”

His comments come in the wake of Harry’s 5-part docuseries with Apple TV+, in which he once again details his reasoning for leaving the Royal Family and criticises members of The Firm for being unsupportive.

He candidly discusses his emotional wellbeing with Oprah and speaks about the benefits of therapy. The series is aimed at destigmatising discussions around mental health, and includes celebrity appearances from the likes of Lady Gaga and Glenn Close.

The couple succeeded in raising £3 million through donations to their non-profit foundation Archewell.

Meghan Markle also announced earlier this year that she was releasing a children’s book The Bench which has been inspired by her husband’s relationship with Archie. Initially written as a poem for Prince Harry on Father’s Day, the book will be published in June 2021 by Random House Children’s Books.

Archie Harrison is currently seventh-in-line to the throne.

The Duke and Duchess currently reside in Montecito, California and are expecting their second child this summer. They announced in an interview with Oprah that they were expecting a daughter.
