According to The Telegraph, Arteta has only five games to save his job before the second international break in October.

It is a position he has come back from before after the club were left flirting with relegation in 16th in December last year, before recovering to finish eighth after a revival in the second half of the season.

But that period of time to save his job could soon be shortened should they fail to beat lowly Norwich, the only team behind them in the Premier League standings.

They also face a tough trip to in-form Championship outfit West Brom, who are unbeaten under new coach Valerien Ismael, in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
