Anthony Callea excitedly announces he's sold out his upcoming George Michael tribute concert

He’s released five albums, toured the country and appeared on reality TV.

And on Friday, Anthony Callea excitedly announced on Instagram that he had sold out his upcoming concert at The Palms at Crown, in Melbourne.

He shared the poster for his show – Ladies & Gentlemen, The Songs of George Michael – with ‘sold out’ written across.

The singer and his band will perform the late pop icon’s biggest songs, including Careless Whisper, Faith and Father Figure, as well as hits wit WHAM!

The ARIA award winner thanked his fans for their support in the caption, and added: ‘You smashed it and totally sold out this concert in 24hrs!’

Anthony’s upcoming concert comes after his appearance on Channel Nine’s Celebrity Apprentice.

He was fired by CEO Lord Alan Sugar, fortunately for him he raised $20,000 for his the Children’s Cancer Foundation charity.

Anthony is married to former Home and Away star Tim Campbell, they tied the knot in New Zealand in November 2014.
