Speaking to The Sun, Abbey recalled that at the time, she was ‘finished with three’ children – having already welcomed Sophia, 10, Liberty, five and Jonny, three – before unexpectedly discovering she was pregnant with her fourth child.

She recalled calling Peter to tell him the baby news, only for him to tell her ‘if you’re going to say what I think you’re going to say, don’t say it.’

Abbey told how she was ‘scared’ about having another child, before Peter eventually came home and said that it was going to be ‘OK’ after he’d had ‘time to think’.

The beauty went on to discuss the growing tension between the pair, adding: ‘We hated each other at that point as well so I don’t even know how I got pregnant to be quite honest.’

Abbey went on to say how the couple call Jack a ‘gift from God’ as he was conceived during a time of much strain in their marriage, adding that the tot is ‘wonderful’ and had ‘fitted in’ well with the family.

It comes after Abbey revealed that she punched her husband when he lost their baby during a day out at a farm.

Speaking on Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe’s Lockdown Parenting Hell podcast, the model recalled the terrifying moment their youngest son Jack went missing and how her husband had a ‘laid-back response’.

She said: ‘It was so scary. I battered Pete in front of every one at the farm. I threw a cup of coffee on him. I threw the coffee and I punched him. I don’t condone violence at all but it was out of panic. I was terrified.’

She said: ‘I went to the toilet. I was gone for one second. And I came back he was just sitting there. I said: ‘where’s the baby?’

‘We couldn’t find the baby anywhere. I was hysterical. He had escaped out of the indoor play area and was a mile down the road with lambs and a lake and everything. It was so scary. I battered Pete in front of every one at the farm.’

‘It was a nightmare I am just so worried about anything happening to them and he is far too laid back, so laid back it is a joke.

‘And he forgot the baby bag. That’s his favourite thing to do. We drove to another country farm. I should have married a farmer!…

‘It was two hours away – with a new born baby and a 12 month old, and he forgot the baby bag, so no milk, no nappies. I wanted to kill him.’

Earlier this year, Abbey recalled the ‘terrifying’ moment she discovered clumps of her hair falling out during pregnancy as she confirmed it ‘damaged’ her confidence.

The star revealed her multiple pregnancies took a toll on her body and her skin became allergic to most products.

Speaking about her experience, she said to OK! Magazine: ‘I was so ill during pregnancy, and my skin was so reactive. It was allergic to everything, even fabrics and washing powder. I also had a lot of hair loss.

‘It grows back, but when clumps of hair fall out when you’re washing it, it’s terrifying.

‘I had three kids in four years, so I felt like I had no hair left by the end! It’s another thing that was damaging to my confidence. It’s scary for any woman’.
